National Security Extension and
Extramural Programs
The Defense Management Institute or DMI, formerly the Institute for Extramural and Continuing Studies, undertakes extension programs consisting of short- and medium-term courses, seminars, workshops, conferences, lecture series and forums on national security to supplement the Academic and Research programs of the College. It is envisioned to be the key training institution on certificate and diploma courses on National Security Administration.
The DMI extends the reach of the College’s Academic and Research and Special Studies programs primarily to military and defense personnel, its alumni, members of the security community, and key private sector representatives. It also continues to establish linkages and networks with local and international organizations.
