Once again serving as a policy and academic platform to exchange insights on another strategic initiative of the current administration, the National Defense College of the Philippines, in partnership with the Foreign Service Institute and the Armed Forces of the Philippines Office for Strategic Studies and Strategy Management, hosted the 4th Heneral Antonio Luna Colloquium last 06 December 2016 at the NDCP Honor Hall, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

With the theme “Implications of Federalism to National Security,” the 4th Heneral Antonio Luna Colloquium aimed to provide an overview of federalism; discuss its impact on Philippine law enforcement and internal security operations; and examine its impact on Philippine external defense and international relations. The Colloquium featured lectures from distinguished experts, including UP Political Science Department Chair Maria Ela Atienza, PhD; Ateneo School of Governance Dean Ronald Mendoza, PhD; Former House Representative Dante Liban, PhD; and UP Political Science Professor Clarita Carlos, PhD.

The highly engaging discussion during the said Colloquium was shared with more than a hundred participants from the civilian government agencies, military, academe, and civil society.
