Senior Intel Officers Undergo Module on National Security
Thirteen military officers and one police officer participated in the four-week Module on National Security at the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP).
In partnership with the Special Intelligence Training School (SITS) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the NDCP, through its Research and Special Studies Division (RSSD), conducted the module from September 5 to October 3, 2018.
The national security module is part of the four-month Strategic Intelligence Course (SIC) Number 38.
The SIC aims to prepare senior officers for middle and upper level command and staff positions in the AFP intelligence community.
The SIC is a required program for future Defense Armed Forces Attachés (DAFAs).
The Module on National Security aims to explore the theory and practice of national security.
Now on its 55th year, the NDCP is the government’s highest center for education, training, and research on defense and national security.
