China NDU visits NDCP

A delegation from the National Defense University (NDU) of the People’s Republic of China visited the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) on 24 July 2018.
Major General Zhao Wenhua led the 29-strong NDU delegation of officials, faculty, and students.
The visit is part of NDU’s Joint Commanding course, similar to the Global Security and Development Study (GSDS) of NDCP’s Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) Program. The visit aimed to provide opportunities for exchanges between the two academic institutions.
In his remarks, NDCP President Rear Admiral Roberto Q Estioko AFP (Ret) PhD MNSA stated that the visit contributes to greater understanding and deeper relations between the two countries.
Meanwhile, General Zhao thanked Admiral Estioko and the rest of NDCP for the warm hospitality. He also encouraged the NDCP to visit again the NDU in Beijing.
During the open discussion, NDCP officials and NDU delegates discussed MNSA Program, NDCP’s flagship degree program.
The delegation was accompanied by the Chinese Embassy’s Defense Attaché, Colonel Sheng Dazhi.
Last Tuesday’s visit of NDU to NDCP was the fourth on record. NDU visited the NDCP in in 1998, 2004, and 2017.
