NDCP Students Visit PA

Students of the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) visited the Philippine Army Headquarters in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on 24 March 2017.

NDCP Executive Vice President BGen Rolando G Jungco AFP (ret) led the delegation composed of College officials, staff and members of the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) program Regular Course (RC) 52.

The visit was part of the Military Dimension Module (NSA 209) of the MNSA program.

BGen Jungco together with Col Stephen V Agtoto DPA MNSA, the Director of the Military Dimension Module, and select MNSA RC 52 students led by the Class President and Representative of the 1st District of Compostela Valley Maria Carmen S Zamora, called on MGen Harold N Cabreros AFP, Vice Commander of the Philippine Army.

MNSA RC 52 foreign students from Brunei, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Singapore and Sri Lanka also joined the call.

LTC George L Banzon (INF) PA MNSA, member of Regular Class 50 (2015) delivered an information briefing about the Philippine Army while Col Arvin R Lagamon (INF) PA MNSA, member of Regular Class 51 (2016) moderated the open forum.

Aside from the briefing and discussion, the NDCP delegation also visited the PA Museum.

After the engagement with the PA, the NDCP delegation briefly visited the Libingan ng mga Bayani and American Cemetery.

The NDCP is the government’s highest center for education, training and research on defense and national security.  Its flagship program is the MNSA program, a one-year full time graduate level course that explores the theory and practice of national security using multi-dimensional perspectives namely, political, economic, socio-cultural, techno-scientific, environmental and military (PESTEM).
