The Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) of NDCP is a one-year full-time master’s degree course consisting of 39 units earned through various forms of lectures, thesis writing, sub-national security and development studies, as well as academic enhancement travels in the country and the Asia Pacific. Guided by a holistic approach to national security and development, the NDCP follows a curriculum that encompasses the different dimensions of national security administration which include socio-cultural, politico-legal, economic, technological, environmental, and military.
The MNSA is open to qualified military officers, government officials, and private sector leaders. Those admitted to the MNSA program are full scholars of government. Civilian graduates are commissioned Lieutenant Colonels or Commanders in the Reserve Force and qualified graduates will be granted with CESO rank.
To qualify for admission in the MNSA scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following basic requirements before they go through the graduate admission test and panel interview.
The Graduate Admission Test (GAT) will be scheduled on 7-8 and 29-30 May 2012 for Civilian and 23-24 May 2012 for the Military.
