6th Basic Disaster Management Training Course

The Emergency Management Institute of the Philippines (EMIP) of the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) is pleased to announce the conduct of the “6th Basic Disaster Management Training Course” from April 4 – April 8, 2005, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the NDCP Honor Hall, Academic Row, Camp Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
The five-day training course will provide background on disasters, linking disasters with development, covering pre-disaster (mitigation, preparedness) and post disaster (relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction) through lectures, case studies and exercises.
A total of thirty-five (35) participants are invited from the following agencies: Air Transportation Office, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Fire Protection, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Department of Health, Department of Public Works and Highways, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Metro Manila Development Authority, Office of Civil Defense, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine National Police, Philippine Ports Authority, Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company and U.P. Philippine General Hospital
