First Responders Awareness Level Training

The Emergency Management Institute of the Philippines (EMIP) of the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Environmental Practitioners Association (EPA), a grantee of the U.S. Asia Environmental Partnership (US-AEP), a program of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) will conduct the First Responders Awareness Level Training in two batches on July 25-26, 2005 at the NDCP Honor Hall, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
The First Responders Awareness Level Training is part of a series of activities geared towards the establishment of Emergency Response Teams in support of the national implementation of the Philippine Chemical and Hazardous Waste Emergency Management Program. Representatives of key government agencies and selected private industries will be invited to participate in the activity which seeks to enhance awareness and improve competencies in responding to and preparing for incidents involving chemicals and hazardous materials.
