On 30 May 2023, the delegation from the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) led by the NDCP President, LtGen Ferdinand M Cartujano PAF (Ret), together with the members of the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) Regular Class (RC) 58, conducted a field study visit at the National Headquarters of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
PNP Chief, PGen. Benjamin C Acorda Jr welcomed and received the NDCP officials and MNSA RC 58 students. During the engagement with the PNP, the MNSA RC 58 students had an opportunity to further understand the mandate, function, and role of the PNP in enforcing the law, maintaining peace and order, as well as ensuring public safety and internal security.
The said visit is part of the National Security Administration (NSA) 208 Module on “Strategy and Military Operations” which aims to provide an understanding of how states develop and execute their defense and military strategy. This module is led by Module Director BGen Joel M Paloma PA.
