To show gratitude to the glorious 60 years of the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP), an Interfaith Thanksgiving Ceremony was held last 12 August 2023 at the NDCP Auditorium.

The religious leaders: MAJ AL-SHEIDICK L KASIM CHS, representing Islam, CAPT JOSELITO B MALICDEM CHS, representing Christianity, and COL DANIEL D TANSIP CHS, representing Roman Catholicism, led the prayers and thanksgiving messages.

During the occasion, a number of NDCP Personnel, Mr Jensen L Arinto, Ms Marilyn O Manicsic, LTC Darwin C Laguardia PROF, and Dr Alan A Lachica; Dr Benjamin I Espiritu MNSA, the President of the NDCP Alumni Association Inc., as well as the Class Presidents of MNSA RC 58, Atty Teodoro Jose S Matta, and MNSA SE, Gov Dakila Carlo E Cua, shared heartfelt thanksgiving messages.

In his closing message, the NDCP President, LtGen Ferdinand M. Cartujano PAF (Ret), reminded everyone that “no matter how difficult the situation we are in, when we are united we are not going to face the challenges alone. Instead, there will be people who will not make you feel alone and will allow you to rely on them. Life is already tough for everyone, hence, we should always find in ourselves the goodness to help and make others feel better.”
