As part of its efforts to improve its facilities and logistics system, the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) inaugurated the newly renovated transient quarters, staff quarters, two mini-buses, and one multipurpose vehicle in an unveiling and blessing ceremony held on 24 February 2021.
In his remarks, the NDCP President, BGen Archimedes H Viaje AFP (Ret) PhD MNSA CESE, expressed his gratitude to the then Senator and now House Deputy Speaker Loren Legarda MNSA for the tremendous support in improving NDCP’s facilities. He also thanked the Office of the Chief Engineer of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) for supervising the project planning and construction, as well as former and current NDCP officials and staff who contributed to the completion of the projects.
BGen Viaje reminded everyone to always have a grateful heart for all the blessings despite the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The transient quarters, staff quarters, mini-buses, and multipurpose vehicle will further boost the administrative and logistical capabilities of the College as it performs its mandate even in the context of the still ongoing pandemic.
