The newly designated Defense and Armed Forces Attaché (DAFA) of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to the Philippines, Colonel Sheng Dazhi, delivered a lecture at the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) on 18 May 2018.
Col Sheng’s lecture before the members of the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) Regular Course (RC) 53 was on Philippines-China Relations.
Prior to his appointment as DAFA, Colonel Sheng served as the Secretary to the Chinese DAFA and also the Assistant DAFA of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Philippines. He was also a Division Chief in China’s Ministry of National Defense.
In his lecture, Col Sheng highlighted the historical and socio-cultural ties between the Philippines and China.
The lecture is part of the preparatory sessions for RC 53’s visit to China as part of the MNSA program.
