LtGen Ferdinand M Cartujano PAF (Ret), the President of the National Defense College of the Philippines, hosted the President’s Dinner for the members of the National Security Studies Program (NSSP) Class 5 last 01 September 2023 at NDCP.

In the same event, LtGen Cartujano administered the Induction of Class Officers of NSSP Class 5. In his speech, he emphasized that in order to solve the problems of the country, “knowledge has to be updated and challenged to widen the depth of your understanding of concepts from different perspectives. It is through learning that we are allowed to see concepts and issues through various lenses. Once each of you has a deeper understanding of these, it is the only time we will be more powerful as we all work together and contribute to policy-making for the betterment of our country.”

NSSP Class 5 convened on 23 August 2023 with 78 senior officers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). The NSSP Class 5 comprises 49 students from the Philippine Army, 3 from the Philippine Air Force, 15 from the Philippine Navy, and 11 from the Technical and Administrative Service.
