The United States Army Pacific (USPAC) Commanding General Charles Flynn had a courtesy call at the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) on 12 April 2023. The NDCP President, LtGen Ferdinand M Cartujano PAF (Ret), and the Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean, Dr Alan A Lachicha, received General Flynn and the USPAC delegation.
General Charles Flynn also delivered an address to the students of the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) Regular Class 58 about “RP-US Relations: Prospects for Better and Safer Future.”
In his remarks, LtGen Cartujano emphasized that the visit was “highly valued as it reflects the shared history of the Philippines’ and the US’ and the commitment to work together in addressing various challenges, fostering collaboration, and maintaining strong relations among like-minded states towards a better and safer future.”
To conclude USPAC’s visit, the NDCP also prepared a luncheon for General Charles Flynn and the rest of the USPAC delegation, together with NDCP Officials, faculty, and staff.
